While the MHJA makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of the information displayed, the MHJA assumes no liability to anyone for errors or omissions. It is the rider's responsibility to notify the MHJA of any correction. If found to be accurate, points will be updated and republished.

TO QUALIFY FOR A YEAR-END AWARD in 2024:

HUNTERS: T
he OWNER of the horse or pony, and the RIDER (if different) must be competing member(s) of the MHJA prior to the time of competition. This holds true if a horse is leased, unless the lease is recorded with USEF, in which case only the lessee (and rider, if different) needs to be a member of MHJA. If the owner of the horse is a Stable/Farm/Corporation, one owner of the Stable/Farm/Corporation must be a member of the MHJA.​ The horse must have competed in at least one MHJA-approved horse show in any Hunter section.
 
JUMPERS: T
he OWNER of the horse or pony, and the RIDER (if different) must be competing member(s) of the MHJA prior to the time of competition. This holds true if a horse is leased, unless the lease is recorded with USEF, in which case only the lessee (and rider, if different) needs to be a member of MHJA. If the owner of the horse is a Stable/Farm/Corporation, one owner of the Stable/Farm/Corporation must be a member of the MHJA.​ The horse must have competed in at least one MHJA-approved horse show in any Jumper section.



TO RECEIVE POINTS IN HUNTER OR JUMPER YEA SECTIONS BOTH OWNER AND RIDER MUST BE COMPETING MEMBERS. If the lease is recorded with USEF, then only the lessee needs to be a member of MHJA.

 
EQUITATION: The rider must be a member of MHJA and the rider must have competed in at least one MHJA-approved horse show in any Equitation section. 

ALL MHJA approved horse shows, regardless of the location, shall count for the same point system.
